My name is Nicole, and I am the proud founder of Bright Start Montessori in Gibraltar. We opened our doors in January 2017 with just one child enrolled and no advertising. Since then, the nursery has flourished, growing entirely through the power of word-of-mouth recommendations. As the Director, I am responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting our dedicated staff, and ensuring that we provide a nurturing, enriching environment where children can thrive.
What I love about my job:
One of my favorite parts of my role is meeting the new families who join us and spending time with the children. It’s truly a privilege to be a part of their educational journeys and watch them grow and learn.
What I enjoy in my free time:
In my downtime, I cherish moments with family and friends. Although I’m very work-focused, I also dedicate time to brainstorming new ideas and initiatives to ensure we continually meet the needs of our children and community.
A little about my pet:
I have a beautiful flame-tip Siamese cat named Bella Snow. She is a beloved member of my family and brings so much joy to my life.

I’ve been a member of the Bright Start family as a nursery teacher since July 2020.
What I love most about being a teacher:
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is how much I get to learn from the children. Their boundless curiosity, energy, and joyful smiles brighten my day and continually inspire me.
When I’m not in the classroom:
I cherish spending quality time with my daughter. We enjoy walking along the beach, feeling the sand between our toes, and embracing the simple joys of nature. I also love catching up with friends, sharing meaningful conversations, and enjoying plenty of laughter.
